Quick Hamstring Stretch

Join me for a quick hamstring stretch! 

Why is it important to stretch hamstrings?

When stretching hamstrings, you prevent these muscles from becoming too tight, and you also support the pelvis, low back, and supportive muscles. 

Keeping these muscles loose will lower the chance of tearing muscles if you are very active and run. 

On the other hand, if you have low back pain, knee pain, or foot pain, tight hamstrings may be leading to these problems as they could be pulling the pelvis out of it’s normal position and causing these areas of tension or inflammation. 

Stretching and strengthening hamstrings is an exercise that connects so many parts of the body to keep you feeling good.

What you will need:

A strap, if you don’t have a yoga strap, you can use a tie or a kitchen towel.
